The Gateway to Industry Schools Program (GISP) is an initiative by the Queensland Government designed to enhance the employability of students by building stronger links between schools, industry, and further education providers.
Through key partnerships the Aerospace GISP aims to create career pathways for students, offering them hands-on learning opportunities, exposure to real-world workplaces, and insights into various professions. This helps align the curriculum with the needs of industries, ensuring students are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in high-demand sectors.
Over 25 schools across Queensland are participating in the Aerospace Gateway to Industry Schools program.
Aerospace Systems is a General Subject offered in year 11 and 12 by some Queensland schools.
